Rumors are going around that the metal hurricane panels are not allowed in the meter room at all.
Obviously the only items permitted stored inside the meter room closets are the metal hurricane panels for the sidelight windows.  Panels for all units in an A or B must be stored in the meter room closet UNTIL OWNERS LEAVE AT THE END OF SEASON, WHEN THE PANELS SHOULD BE INSTALLED ON THE SIDE LIGHT WINDOWS,
or for year-round residents or residents present during HURRICANE SEASON, the panels need to be installed during Hurricane Warnings.
