Sept 12 @12:40am

Owners;

Here are some photos. So far, we have no electricity. However, there is electricity at Military Road, at least the part between Hypoluxo Road and Boynton Beach Blvd. Our staff was not able to be onsite on Monday, and we are hopeful that they will be able to make it back by Tuesday. Our staff must return to our area from different locations and are also required to deal with issues concerning their own residences and belongings.

There are 21 trees down at Waterside, and our surroundings will not look the same. At present. it seems that there is limited damage to buildings, mostly to Florida rooms, awnings and some shingles that have peeled off. The shingles are not a worry, as there are three layers of shingles on the buildings plus a 30 pound black paper. We have contacted contractors for help, as well as FPL about one damaged lamp post, but it will not be an easy task to find help given the widespread destruction in Florida.

We have received a report from the caretaker of Unit 685 - Building 34 due to the tree that fell on it. There is no interior damage, no leaks and the shutter protected the unit. Please ensure that your caretaker inspects your unit and, once completed, reports back to the Office concerning the inspection and the condition of the unit. That will save the staff the time of calling to request a report on the condition of the unit. If you hear from your caretaker, please send me an email so that we can keep a record of inspections conducted.

We had a problem with shutters that opened due to the wind, and we will be inspecting the closing mechanism to see what improvements can be made.

We want to thank the owners and residents who worked to clean the streets. Waterside is a community, and we will definitely need and appreciate help from everyone onsite during the next two weeks. Special thanks to Board member Marian Petrescu who stayed throughout the hurricane and kept us informed as long as possible, to Board member Michael Shane who is back onsite and assisting, and also to Vincent Vasilescu who kept me posted and also fixed a problem with one of the entrance gates that became loose.

I also would like to thank and greatly appreciate two other owners for their exceptional civil, good gestures to others: Mrs. Karagagos and Mr. Jean-Claude Goyette. Unfortunately, I received a couple of emails that contained unkind and unjustified comments about our staff. We also received requests from some snowbird who called to ask us to check the inside of their condos. Needless to say, it is not our responsibility to check the interior of condos; the owners have an obligation when absent to have caretakers.

I should be at Waterside tomorrow (Tuesday, September 12) and am scheduled to fly in around noon. If at all possible given the situation, we will issue more reports and, as soon as Scott Perron is back at Waterside and electricity is restored, we will also make a series of releases on the website.

Thanks and take care,

Andre Mongrain, President

Propietaires;

Voici quelques photos.
