What’s new at the Library?
Hello Dear Waterside Resident,
Once again, your library volunteers are ready to welcome you this season. Since opening on November 24th, we have been here to meet your literary needs.
A RECORD NUMBER OF REGISTRATIONS LAST WINTER!
Thanks to your registrations, which exceeded the number of the previous year, we went in search of new books: detective novels, foreign and Quebec novels and series. You will find many bestsellers!
LOTS OF NEW FEATURES!
We have listened to you and taken into account your suggestions in order to always offer you freshness and variety as well as the reading you love. In addition to the new books acquired, the donations and subsidies of books have largely met our expectations and enriched our repertoire. Notably, thanks to them, we have expanded our History section. In this way, we will reach our customers who are passionate about enriching their knowledge. Also, we will offer our subscribers a Magazines section, for those who like new tips, fashion, recipes…
A NEW READING CORNER!
Our book sale last March allowed us to carry out a project that had been close to our hearts for a long time: the Youth Corner. Our young clientele who will come to see you will have something to invest in!
GIFTS FOR OUR PASSIONATE READERS!
We will continue the tradition of the monthly raffle. Each registration will give you the chance to win a new bag for your reading book or other book, at the end of the month in which you registered. In addition, these bags will also be on sale for $12. A new unique raffle has been added: it will take place on December 31 between 9:30am and 11:30am 2025, at the library. The prize offered is a 2026 Agenda, valued at $25. Each person who registers (at a cost of $20) in November and December will have the chance to participate in the draw. If you plan to arrive later, you can always register through a neighbor or friend, so you can participate.
THE BOOK SALE IS BACK!
Our book sale will also be on the program with a few surprises. In short, an excellent season is coming.
EVERY $20 COUNTS! We are counting on your registration to offer you a captivating read. ! We look forward to seeing you at the library!
We are open Mondays and Fridays from 9:30am to 11:30am so please stop by and check out a great book.
