Reminder: Palm Beach County Dog Leash Ordinance

As a reminder to all residents and visitors, Palm Beach County Ordinance Chapter 4 (Animals) requires that dogs be kept on a leash or otherwise under physical restraint whenever they are off their owner’s private property, except in designated off-leash areas or specific exempt situations (such as service animals). The ordinance also prohibits unattended tethering and addresses nuisance behaviors such as excessive barking or dogs running at large.
