WATER AND SEWAGE COST FROM JANUARY 5 TO FEBRUARY 7, 2026

Residents,

Please find in this memo the monthly cost for water and sewage for the above-mentioned period. Remember that water is very expensive in Florida. There are 2 components; a fixed fee portion that we have no impact on it and a consumption fee, and this is where we can have an impact.
The following data includes 6 buildings, the unit numbers in each building and finally the daily consumption per unit, occupied or not. For the 412 units the average daily consumption is 94.0 gallons per day per unit.
Building 7, units 172 to 179, average daily consumption 262.5 per unit in the previous reporting, some improvement for the current month, now the average is 235.4. We still have a long way to go, the City of Boynton Beach in their own calculations, estimate a daily consumption of 40 gallons per person.
Building 11, units 372 and 373, average daily consumption was 216.7 per unit last period, now it stands at 297.0, an important deterioration from last reporting.
Building 14, units 347 to 351, average daily consumption was 246.7 per unit last period, some improvement it is now down to 212.5, still far off the Association average.
Building 16, units 311 to 315, average daily consumption was 173. per unit last month now at 268.7. Current reporting even if was high last month it went up more.
Building 21, units 204 to 205 last month daily consumption was 66.7 gallons per unit per day. Current reporting it is up to 281.3 gallon per unit per day, may be sidewalk pressure cleaning is the source of the increase, will see next reporting.
Building 22, units 216 to 217, last month was on high side at 133.3 gallons per unit per day, this period it went up to 281.3 gallons per unit.
Six of those buildings are townhouse buildings. Last month the 2 high-cost situations were resolved and we hope it does stay that way. It was not due to an underground leak, it was in unit, normally a toilet leak.
Thanks to Daniel Laviolette and Claude Rivard, for their work on water consumption.
Please verify any possible leaks and the administration will now visit buildings 7,11,14 and 16, to determine the source of the high consumption.

Thanks
The Administration
