Water Consumption and Costs from November 5 to December 8, 2025

The following information is the monthly cost for water and sewage, for the period from November 5 to December 8, 2025, a 32-day period amounted to $22,822.00. Our residents need to remember that water is very expensive in Florida. The fixed and variable rate went up by 15% over the previous year. Please communicate with your guests, and renters the following information. There are 2 components; a fixed fee portion that we have no impact on. This portion accounts for $198,655.00 for the total year or $16,554.58 per month or $40.18 per month per unit occupied or not.

We have a consumption cost, and this is where our residents have an impact. The yearly budget for the variable cost is $74,345.00 or $6,195.42 per month and $15.07 per unit. Remember that this component does fluctuate monthly depending on the level of occupancy and consumption per building for a given period. What’s come in from the water line, goes out with a 1.29 multiplier.
There is for the above variable portion, 2 buildings that are extremely high for the consumption. One of those 2 buildings, for 3 occupied units out of 5 during that period, the variable component amounted to $404.57 or $ 134.86 per unit or $ 79.61 above the monthly budget.
Just for those 3 units the extra cost compared to the average budget the overrun for the year will be $2,865.96. If the same type of average was maintained for all our 412 units all year, our budget overrun would be $393,591.84 our cost per month fee will go up by $79.61, yes, a month.

Please verify any possible leak, normally toilet and the administration will also visit those 2 buildings.
